MONARCH PLACE SHATTERS $130 MILLION IN SALES

Southport’s resurgence as the Gold Coast’s CBD has been underpinned by a bustling run of sales to the tune of more than $130 million in veteran developer Robert Badalotti’s $650 million Monarch Place.

Monarch Place, the second stage of Mr Badalotti’s $3.8 billion Imperial Square project, has seen strong interest from owner-occupiers and downsizers eager to secure luxury residences in what is becoming one of the city’s best-selling projects.

Monarch Place brings a new vision to the Gold Coast, creating a ‘city within a city’ that offers a diverse range of amenities designed by Kris Kowalski Architects. This includes world-class residential, retail, and commercial spaces, featuring a 3,200sqm medical precinct serviced by some of the Gold Coast’s leading specialists.

Over 50 per cent of medical suites are already under contract, reinforcing the project’s broad market appeal.

Residents will have access to the Monarch Imperial Club, featuring a gym, sauna, indoor pool, beauty parlour, entertainment rooms, cinema, golf simulator, art studio, library, workshop, bar, and restaurant. A 1,500sqm childcare facility will also be available on-site.

“We're delighted with the response so far, with over $130 million in sales reflecting the demand for a truly integrated living experience in Southport,” said Mr Badalotti.

Additionally, the unique advantage of Monarch Place lies in its fully integrated family business model. Lorenzo Badalotti is the owner and principal at Raine & Horne Elite Southport CBD, while Fabrizio Badalotti is the owner of Platform Constructions.

“We position ourselves as a one-stop shop, eliminating the need to seek construction tenders elsewhere.”

Monarch Place will offer one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, two-storey sky homes, four-bedroom apartments, sub-penthouses with plunge pools, and luxury penthouses with private infinity pools.

“The strong demand for Monarch Place reflects a desire for luxury living that offers both convenience and peace of mind,” said Jason Paris, Sales Director at Raine & Horne Elite.

Construction on the $650 million Monarch Place is set to begin in November, promising to leave a lasting impression on Southport’s urban landscape.

Stage 1 of Imperial Square, Regal Residences, is now complete and officially opened in late 2024. This exciting phase introduced Amore Ristorante, the largest Italian restaurant on the Gold Coast, covering over 1,000 sqm and boasting the biggest Italian pizza oven produced in Italy.

Additionally, Regal Residences welcomes the highly anticipated TRYP by Wyndham Southport Gold Coast, marking the brand’s debut in the Gold Coast market.
