$20 million Burraneer Bay property obliterates suburb sales record

One of last remaining street to waterfront estates on Burraneer Peninsular has sold for $20 million in an off-market deal facilitated by Highland agents Mitchell Wynn and Laura McKay.

333 Woolooware Road Burraneer property has shattered Burraneer’s existing suburb sales record, more than doubling the standing $9.1 million benchmark set by 191 Woolooware Road in a sale transacted by Highland in August 2020.

The $20 million sale has also toppled the Sutherland Shire price record previously held by the ‘Palazzo Georges’ trophy home in Sylvania which sold for $16.3 million in February – a recent record in itself, having topped the $14 million record sale of Cove House by Highland partners Wynn and McKay late last year.

“Burraneer has been primed for a value surge, and we’re witnessing that now with back-to-back records toppling as buyers clamour to secure premium waterfront product,” said David Highland, CEO of Highland.

“Demand in the prestige market continues to be driven by scarcity of supply, and when coupled with the rarity of one of Burraneer’s last remaining waterfront estates, its no surprise that this home attracted such a substantial figure. 

Highland sales agent Mitchell Wynn said the property in itself was a gem among the Burraneer market.
