$200 Million Broadbeach Apartment Project Set To Create A Hybrid Of Affordable Luxury For Buyers

A new $200 million residential development proposed for Broadbeach is aiming to make the iconic Gold Coast lifestyle accessible to more buyers with an uncompromising design that delivers an eclectic range of apartments offering a hybrid of affordability and luxury.

A Melbourne investor, backed by private equity funding, has lodged a development application for the new project to be located at 33-37 Armrick Avenue.

The 1750 sqm site, which spans three lots, will be transformed into a 33-storey lifestyle development comprising 203 apartments, topped by an exclusive collection of premium penthouses and sub-penthouses that will take advantage of coastal and hinterland views.

Designed by award-winning firm Plus Architecture, the Armrick Avenue development has been specifically crafted to set itself apart from the latest wave of luxury Gold Coast developments by delivering an extensive suite of accessible amenities available to all residents on two dedicated levels.

The heart of the new development will be found on level-three which will house a resort-style swimming pool that features a shallow wading pool and separate spa and private cabana nearby. The main recreation deck will also boast a gym and wellness centre, steam room and sauna, yoga deck, sun lounge, cold pools, outdoor lounge and fire pit, plus private landscaped barbecue areas and a bar nook.

Residents will also have access to storage areas on the recreation deck, while a separate dedicated storage area is located on the mezzanine above on level four.

The design incorporates an additional communal lounge on level 22 providing residents access to private dining and lounge spaces, as well as hot desks to cater for the work-from-home trend.

“It’s important to note that, in doing so, we haven’t compromised on the quality finishes that buyers expect in such a prime coastal location.

Lower floors have been designed to appeal to investors and first home buyers, with a selection of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, with some of the larger apartments featuring additional multi-purpose rooms.

The upper levels have exclusively been crafted for a suite of 54 luxury residences. Among them will be four sub-penthouses on level 31.

The development will be topped by two expansive dual-level penthouses comprising four bedrooms, five bathrooms and two multi-purpose rooms.

Each penthouse will have its own private rooftop garden with pool, sundeck, kitchen and barbecue and alfresco dining area and cosy firepit space.

The master suite and one of the multi-purpose rooms of each penthouse will be located on this exclusive rooftop level.

The development application for 33-37 Armrick Avenue was lodged on September 9.
