$325m Mary Lane takes Brisbane to new heights
Mary Lane, a luxury mixed-use development combining exclusive residences, a vibrant dining precinct and the five-star Westin Hotel has launched publicly.The developer behind the $325 million Mary Lane in Brisbane has marked the official launch of the project with the opening of a spectacular display suite at 113 Margaret Street.Mary Lane will be the place in Brisbane to live, dine and be seen, says development manager Ian Pert.Mr Pert, of GMP Management, said the 439sqm sales suite would allow visitors to envision, touch and experience what the Mary Lane concept is set to become.He said the expansive sales centre allowed discerning buyers the opportunity to immerse themselves in the project.“The display suite really puts things into context for off-the-plan buyers, providing them with an opportunity to experience the ambience of the project through a combination of display fittings, a large scale model, actual finishes, video and the mock up of kitchen, living and bathroom areas, Mr Pert said.Designed by international architects Woods Bagot, Mary Lane will comprise a mix of one-, two- and three- bedroom residences as well as limited penthouses, which is being marketed by Colliers International.Colliers International director residential Andrew Roubicek, who is marketing the project, said Mary Lane would revolutionise the way of living in Brisbane’s inner-city.He said since the opening of the sales suite in February 2016 more than $60 million in sales have been achieved, which represents around 80 sales.“I would suggest this achievement makes Mary Lane the best performing project in Brisbane considering the average price of all residences exceeds $900,000,” he said.“Buyers both locally and afar have been attracted to the idea of having high quality retail and entertainment at their doorstep.“The developer has taken inspiration from projects in Singapore and Hong Kong and introduced a unique concept to the Australian market.“The fusion of residences, hotel and high-end restaurants and bars will play a major part in the revival of the city as a sought after destination for both business and leisure.“This will make the Mary Lane experience unrivalled by anything else in the country and will give the project local, interstate and international appeal.”Set to rise at 111 Mary Street, the building will comprise 184 luxury residences and 286 hotel rooms with separate facilities for residents and guests.Internal features include high quality finishes and fittings, stone benchtops, ducted air-conditioning as well as European style appliances.Residents will have on floor storage rooms as well as exclusive use of the level 37recreation deck with an infinity edge pool, gymnasium, BBQ and function area.Residences are priced from $460,000 to more than $2 million.The five-star international hotel to be operated by Starwood Hotels under the Westin brand will have four podium levels with a large resort style pool with swim up bar, gymnasium, day spa, function space, lobby bar and restaurant.Developer Mary 111 Pty Ltd owns significant properties within Brisbane CBD and also owns the neighbouring Four Points by Sheraton hotel at 99 Mary Street.Mary Lane to set to begin construction in the first quarter of 2016.The display suite, at 113 Margaret Street, is open by appointment only.
