Aniko taps into demand for waterfront living with launch of 35 Grant Residences at Hope Island

Gold Coast developer Aniko Group has officially launched its latest project for Hope Island after receiving strong interest from buyers looking to lock in a waterfront lifestyle on the city’s booming north shore.

The $55 million development, named 35 Grant Residences, will deliver 48 townhouses and 10 waterfront duplex villas in a gated community set amid an expansive park precinct with walkways and manicured gardens.

Buyers have flocked to the latest edition to the Hope Island skyline driven by local owner-occupiers, with 75% of the project secured under contract before it had even hit the market.

The company plans to enhance the waterfront offering with the inclusion of a select number of marina berths, providing bridge free access to the Gold Coast’s aquatic playground of island waterways and the Broadwater.

The launch comes off the back of the recent release of data from CoreLogic’s ‘Best of the Best’ report revealing Hope Island was the Gold Coast’s most popular suburb with the highest number of sales.

Inspired to become a private urban oasis for its residents, 35 Grant Avenue draws on Aniko’s extensive experience in creating premium residential addresses at Hope Island where it has led the way with three previous successful projects.

Aniko Group has progressively transformed the Hope Island landscape over the past two years, building on the growing dominance in the market for a waterfront lifestyle and its central location which is being enhanced by a boom in public and private infrastructure, including a proposed new railway station and the Coomera Connector.

“With each new project we are writing a new chapter in the evolution of Hope Island and our latest development takes Gold Coast waterfront living to a new level,” said Aniko managing director George Mastrocostas.

“We have been inspired by New York’s Central Park to create a spacious area of parkland as the centrepiece of the 35 Grant Avenue community, giving residents a beautifully manicured open area on their doorstep to enjoy.”

The new development will comprise residences that offer three bedrooms with a selectnumber incorporating a multi-purpose room, which can easily be transformed into a home office. The waterfront duplexes bring diversity to Aniko’s latest development with a spacious three-bedroom and two-bathroom design, which come complete with state-of-the-art Miele appliances. All residences will include a double lock up garage.

The 35 Grant Residences will be priced from $745,000 to $1.5 million.

Designed for resort-style living, the development will feature a range of state-of-the-art amenities for residents including a spacious pool area with sunbeds and outdoor showers, a communal herb garden, barbeque facilities and a fire pit.

Aniko is currently preparing to open a display suite for 35 Grant Avenue after securing expressions of interest from local and interstate parties during the pre-release period.

“We stepped up our plans for 35 Grant Avenue after receiving a significant level of inquiry from prospective buyers, most of them locals who appreciate the lifestyle Hope Island offers residents today,” said Mr Mastrocostas.

“In the two years since we announced our very first Hope Island development, we have seen a significant transformation in the suburb.

“It has become hugely popular with local buyers who appreciate the location and superb urban amenities it currently offers. With the infrastructure work currently under way, many see this part of the Gold Coast being very well positioned for the future.”

Aniko is experiencing exceptional demand at its most recent Hope Island project, Athena Residences at 6-8 Sickle Avenue, where more than 90 per cent of apartments now sold within weeks of their release.

Aniko is now sold out of its $140 million development, 1 Grant Avenue, where construction of stage two was recently completed.

No. 35 Grant Residences’ sales centre is set to open on January 4th 2022 and buyers can register their interest here: https://aniko.com.au/portfolio/35-grant-avenue-hope-island/
