Awaken continues record sales spree as pinnacle project nears sell-out
Luxury buyers have descended upon S & S Projects’ landmark Point Danger development, leaving just one of its full floor apartments up for grabs after the bulk of its stock sold for record average prices of $4.2 million apiece.
The ‘Awaken’ project has been one of the Gold Coast’s residential apartment success stories, with a sales spree over less than three months which included the southern Gold Coast’s highest ever penthouse sale at $8.15 million.
Buyers have flocked from across the board for the nine uber-luxury residences perched atop Point Danger and with sweeping views Gold Coast, northern NSW and the hinterland.
Two international buyers have purchased in the building including the US couple who purchased the penthouse, while two apartments went to Brisbane buyers and five to local Gold Coast buyers.
“The interest for Awaken has been enormous, and to have attracted an international market is a huge testament to Awaken’s desirability and unbelievable location,” said Mr Gedoun.
“We’ve witnessed quite a strong local uptake too, which is no surprise given the area’s reputation for sensational surf culture and laid-back atmosphere that is the pinnacle of the beachside dream.
“We imagine the final apartment won’t stick around for long as discerning buyers discover the unparalleled value Awaken holds in what is one of the most unique beachfront positions anywhere in Australia.”
The remaining whole-floor apartment welcomes spectacular panoramic oceans views from their vantage point atop one of Gold Coast’s highest and most easterly points.
Jayde Pezet, of KM Sales and Marketing, which is marketing the project, said Awaken was one of the most unique luxury apartment projects anywhere on the Australian eastern seaboard and it was no surprise to see the sales take up.
“Nowhere else can you find this level of uninterrupted beachfront vistas across some of the Gold Coast most idyllic beaches, spanning from northern NSW to the skyline of Surfers Paradise and beyond,” said Mr Pezet.
“Given the elevation of the site, every apartment receives a penthouse level of views, enhanced by the floor to ceiling windows and a sophisticated design imbued with coastal extravagance.”
Renowned Australian artist Lindy Lee has recently been appointed to deliver a stunning integrated artwork set to feature at Awaken Residences, combining an international flair with the elements of the local laidback coastal lifestyle of Coolangatta.
Mr Gedoun’s company is no stranger to success on the southern Gold Coast, with Awaken following in the footsteps of the company’s $74 million Flow Residences which stormed off the market in a matter of months last year, including purchases by esteemed surfing elite.
S & S Projects has recently lodged a DA for a striking new residential project which will encompass 97 lavish apartments across two interconnected buildings in the heart of Coolangatta, a stone’s throw from the glittering Rainbow Bay.
