Chevron One, the first apartment tower to offer island living just minutes from the heart of Surfers Paradise already has achieved over $33 million in sales since its launch to the market.A bevy of owner occupier buyers has warmly embraced the concept of living in the arts-inspired luxury residential tower that will be the first to rise above Chevron Island’s vibrant village atmosphere.26 apartments, including a $3.25 million sub-penthouse, have sold following the official launch of the $260 million Chevron One development by Melbourne-based developer Bensons Property Group. The tower’s 247 apartments offer a new level of sophistication and luxury on the doorsteps of the city’s famed tourism and entertainment hub and its emerging $365 million arts and cultural precinct – Home of the Arts (HOTA) - at Evandale.Bensons’ Property Group Managing Director Rick Curtis said he was delighted with the enthusiastic market response to the 40-level Chevron One.“We are thrilled with the strong buyer activity and interest in this unique residential offering on Chevron Island,” Mr Curtis said.“Chevron One is very much a place to live, not just to stay, and that approach is reflected in the scale and design of each apartment and the superb resort-style facilities that residents have just below.“We believe Chevron One has captured the best of both worlds by delivering apartment living in a vibrant island community just a short walk to everything Surfers Paradise has to offer.”And in a nod to Chevron One’s proximity to HOTA (Home of the Arts, the Arts Centre Gold Coast), Bensons has incorporated specially-curated art into residents’ communal spaces. The spaces will include an extensive curated art collection including sculptural works by artists such as James Parrett and Deborah Halpern.Crafted by prolific design firm Marchese Partners, Chevron One offers a range of one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments wrapped in wave-inspired architecture. Each apartment features seamless indoor to outdoor living spaces complemented by contemporary finishes such as stone benchtops, timber floors, luxurious bathrooms and kitchens designed by award-winning celebrity chef Shannon Bennett.Apartments will overlook the Surfers Paradise skyline, the ocean, Nerang River and the hinterland depending on their location within the tower. The Stanhill Drive development places its residents within easy walking distance from the beach, and just 500 metres from the entertainment and light rail in Surfers Paradise while allowing them to live close to Chevron’s thriving dining and retail village. They will have easy access to the tower’s extensive leisure facilities at Club One, including indoor and outdoor pools, a BBQ area, al fresco dining, gymnasium, yoga and sculpture garden, outdoor cinema, residents’ lounge and bicycle racks.Chevron One is the first Queensland project for Bensons Property Group, acclaimed for the quality of its residential developments throughout Melbourne, where it has delivered over $2 billion in projects since the early 1990s.Apartments are priced from $455,000 for one-bedroom apartments through to $3.2 million for the four-bedroom residences.Construction of Chevron One is scheduled to be complete by early 2021.Visit the onsite display suite at 42 Stanhill Drive, Chevron Island, which is open 12pm-6pm weekdays and 11am-4pm weekends.
