Demand drives sales as luxury Sutherland development reaches 50% sold

Buyers have made a rush at one of Sutherland’s most luxurious residential offerings ‘Dwell’, with the development officially notching its way over the 50% sold mark following a $30 million buyer blitz. 

Once complete, Dwell will comprise a stunning selection of 47 one, two and three bedroom oversized residential apartments across seven stories. 

The project that is being developed by Altitude NSW Pty LTD has been architecturally crafted to pay homage to Sutherland's breath-taking surroundings and features natural materials, neutral tones and a tasteful greenery that drapes Dwell's exterior.

Remaining one bedroom residences are priced from $640,000, two bedrooms from $900,000 and three bedrooms from $1,300,000 and are anticipated to be snatched up by buyers hungry for quality product amid a shortage of oversized luxury residences in the market.

Luke Barbuto, Head of Project Marketing for Highland, says success in sales for Dwell residences has been driven by demand from predominantly local buyers.

"Many of these buyers are local downsizers and first home buyers, both of which have been enticed by Dwell’s unique location, spectacular architecture, incredible amenity offerings, and beautiful living spaces,” said Mr Barbuto. 

“Reaching 50% sold is largely due to the surge of owner-occupiers who are continuing to drive the demand for apartment living, during a time where vacancy rates are at an all-time low.” 

Dwell is also leading the pack in residential real estate, with a record sqm rate of $13,300 per square meter being achieved in the building. 

“Given the rate with which Dwell apartments have been purchased, we expect the remaining apartments to sell out fast,” said Mr Barbuto. 

“I think the sales we’ve achieved to date is a strong indication that there is a robust appetite for exceptionally designed high-quality, low maintenance apartment living in the Sutherland region.”

Dwell will rise from 110-116 Flora Street and feature resort-style amenities including a landscaped garden, barbeque area for entertaining and stunning swimming pool.

Construction on the development is nearing completion and is expected to be finished within the next couple of months.
