Greyburn appointed to complete construction of $121 million Minnippi Quarter community

Queensland builder Greyburn, a company with 35 years’ experience in quality construction, has been appointed by developer Frasers Property Australia to complete its $121 million master-planned community, Minnippi Quarter, in Brisbane’s eastern suburbs.

Greyburn has been appointed to the project as builder, following the liquidation of former contractor Condev.

Construction has resumed on Minnippi Quarter, which on completion will comprise 172 boutique terrace homes, 20 land lots and associated resident amenities, on a 5.2-hectare site at Carina. Greyburn will complete the remaining homes in Release Three and Release Four and remaining civil works at the project.

Greyburn, a company dedicated to excellence in construction since 1987, has an extensive portfolio of successful residential and commercial projects in south-east Queensland. The most recent include Palladium, comprising 39 double-storey townhouses at Hope Island; and ORO Apartments, a boutique collection of luxury apartments at Biggera Waters. The company is also about commence an 8 storey, 69 apartment project in Robina.

Greyburn Co-Director John Kearney said the company was well positioned to deliver the remaining works at Minnippi Quarter.

“We’ve worked closely with Frasers Property to ensure sub-contractors and suppliers have been looked after, and to ensure a smooth transition of the construction contract. We look forward to delivering Minnippi Quarter into the hands of its new residents later this year,” he said.

All lots at Minnippi Quarter have sold out, highlighting the appeal of the community which boasts a tree-lined entry boulevard, 6,000sqm of private parkland and carefully considered precinct parks. Residents enjoy a stunning central pavilion with a 25-metre infinity edge lap pool, gym and entertainment spaces with a sunken lounge and barbecue area.
