Highland Double Bay Malouf agent’s $50 million month reflects continued strength of prestige market

High-end property specialist William Manning, of Highland Double Bay Malouf, has hit the ground running following his recent appointment to the agency to secure sales totalling almost $50 million in April.

Mr Manning, who joined the team at Highland Double Bay Malouf in February, says the latest sales reflect continued strength in the prestige market in Sydney.

The sales include a spectacular eight-bedroom home with uninterrupted ocean views at 42 Gardyne Street, Bronte, the beachside suburb’s undisputed dress circle, which sold with the price guide of $22 million.

Mr Manning also negotiated the sale of a dual-level apartment 1/44 New Beach Road, Darling Point, overlooking Rushcutters Bay, which sold with a price guide of $16.5 million.

Other significant deals during the month included the 5/64 Chaleyer Street, Rose Bay; 126 Underwood Street, Paddington; and 124 Underwood Street, Paddington. The three properties sold circa $10 million.

The sales executed by Mr Manning in April total just shy of $50 million. The leading agent is considered one of the best negotiators in the industry with multiple suburb price records and two Australian records under his belt from a career spanning 25 years.

“Demand for high-end properties is showing no signs of slowing down, despite a softening across the broader market in Sydney,” said Mr Manning.

“Properties that are well presented in prime locations are still sought after and attracting premium prices.”

Mr Manning joined Highland Double Bay Malouf following the merger of realty icons Bill and David Malouf and David Highland to establish the powerhouse venture. The office is defined by its unrivalled real estate experience, synonymous with Highland’s already established brand presence and exclusive, full-service market offering.

Highland has a 150-plus strong team across a network of agencies in Sydney’s most active property pockets servicing the Cronulla, Sutherland and Taren Point regions.
