Mosaic masters medium density

Builder-developer Mosaic Property Group has picked up its first Master Builders Award for its Sonnet on Dickens boutique apartment project at Norman Park. The company’s building division, Mosaic Construction, won the Medium Density up to three storeys – over five dwellings category at the recent Master Builders Brisbane Housing and Construction Awards. It is the first time Mosaic has entered the awards which were held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on July 8.Sonnet on Dickens now will take on other regional winners in the category at the Master Builders Queensland awards on October 14.Completed in March 2015, Sonnet on Dickens comprises a collection of eight two and three-bedroom luxury apartments set amid the leafy charm of Norman Park. Each apartment features expansive open-plan living areas, a ‘furnishable’ balcony, a gourmet kitchen, fully tiled bathrooms, and air conditioning throughout. The two ground-level residences have courtyards in addition to the balcony areas.Mosaic managing director Brook Monahan said that as a developer and builder, Mosaic had the competitive advantage of managing the entire development process from planning through to completion.“This streamlines the process, enables a more stringent attention to details and finishes, and therefore, ultimately improves the end result for those that have purchased here,” he said.Mr Monahan said the accolade was testament to the hard work of the Mosaic development and construction teams in delivering high quality projects across Brisbane, led by Mosaic’s director of developments and director of construction, David Handley and Brendan Dale.Mosaic has completed more than $120 million worth of boutique apartment projects at Indooroopilly, Alderley, Ashgrove, Mount Gravatt East and Holland Park in the past 12 months. The company is currently launching a series of new apartment and town house projects in key inner suburban Brisbane locations.
