Plans lodged For 88 Burleigh, an exclusive new luxury project overlooking Burleigh beachfront
Gold Coast development company Allure Property Corporation has laid plans for an exclusive luxury apartment project at Burleigh Heads with a design that lives and breathes beachside living.
The company this week lodged a development application for the 809sqm site acquired for $13 million called 88 Burleigh along The Esplanade. The site overlooks Rotary Park and provides uninterrupted views of the iconic Burleigh Heads beachfront.
Designed by award-winning architectural firm DBI, 88 Burleigh will deliver 27 spacious residences in a modern sculptured design with an expansive glass facade to take advantage of the prime position.
Designed with the owner-occupier in mind, the development will have a maximum of two apartments per floor, providing over 200sqm of living space to residents.
400m2 + full-floor sub-penthouses will deliver a series of exclusive sky homes from levels 13 to 16, topped by a stunning penthouse on level 17.
All apartments will have three bedrooms, with the sub-penthouses offering four-bedroom designs.
Design form DBI Managing Director Raith Anderson says the company has limited the number of residences in the building to create a real sense of exclusivity.
“Market trends at the moment favour high-end ‘sky home’ style offerings in premium locations, and this design has all the hallmarks of a classically luxurious Gold Coast address,” said Mr Anderson.
“We’re aiming to attract local downsizers seeking a superior lifestyle, we also expect to draw significant interest from interstate buyers looking to take advantage of the unrivalled location on one of Australia’s most iconic beaches with everything that Burleigh Heads has to offer.”
Allure has undertaken a variety of residential and commercial projects on the Gold Coast in recent years, recently securing a substantial size mixed use development site in Miami with the intent to redevelop a multi tower building with a ground floor brewery, subject to council approval, with 88 Burleigh its most exclusive offering so far.
“We have designed this building as a living and breathing extension of the beautiful beachfront location,” said Mr Anderson.
“The base of the building showcases cascading subtropical seaside landscaped terraces and a sculpted scalloped planted awning which extends the vertical green spine from Level 17 down the northern and southern elevations.
“In the living areas, sliding glass screens and feature curved panels provide uninterrupted beach views for residents while providing comfortable, well protected indoor and outdoor living spaces all year.”
There will be a residents’ club on the ground level with lounge, kitchen and bar facilities where residents and their guests can relax with views across the park to Burleigh Beach.
The development is located only a few minutes’ walk to Burleigh’s famed James Street and beachfront dining precinct and the proposed new light rail station.
Syd Walker and Bruce Goddard, of Place Projects, have been appointed as project marketing team for 88 Burleigh.
