$15m sales surge as buyers find Sanctuary

Mulpha Sanctuary Cove has settled $15 million in land sales this year to date, kicking off what is expected to be a stellar 2016 for the resort community’s property market after a record year of settlements last year. The company settled $55 million in both land and house and land sales last year after releasing new stages across golf course-fronting, waterfront and hillside precincts.Mulpha Sanctuary Cove general manager of sales John Hughes said the developer brought forward three new land offerings in the final weeks of 2015.“We have been selling lots off-the-plan, before buyers have had the opportunity to inspect sites and views,” he said.“Such a display of urgency is promising and not something we have seen at Sanctuary Cove in several years.“Prospective buyers are encouraged by the fact that these land offerings are totally unique in the Gold Coast market – waterfront land is scarce and the opportunity to live in a world-class golf and boating resort will not present itself again.”Mulpha Sanctuary Cove executive general manager Keith Allardice said the company continued to roll out its $30 million plus development investment in Sanctuary Cove.“Mulpha has committed to delivering diverse new land offerings and in doing so has embarked on one of the largest capital works programs in the history of Sanctuary Cove,” he said.“The volume of civil construction work underway is massive and has been accelerated by higher than anticipated sales volumes.“We still have more than 300 lots to develop and sell within Sanctuary Cove, with some of the most desirable land sites currently selling.”Just six lots remain in the first stage of Sanctuary Cove’s hillside precinct, Sanctuary Greens, which features blocks from 455sqm to 881sqm, priced from $525,000.Stage one of Sanctuary Point offers peninsula waterfront blocks with deep, wide waterway access, varying from 540sqm to more than 1000sqm and selling from $1.135 million. The first stage of 13 lots fronting the Pines golf course is selling from $860,000 as part of a prestigious enclave of large, gently sloped home sites ranging in size from 850sqm to 1,209sqm.Sanctuary Cove is a resort-style master planned community, featuring two 18-hole championship golf courses, a 300-berth marina, InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort and Country Club including full fitness centre, tennis courts and 25m swimming pool.At the heart of the community is the Marine Village – Sanctuary Cove’s very own waterfront commercial, retail and dining precinct, with more than 80 tenancies.Mulpha continues to reinvest in the multi award-winning community, ensuring it maintains its enviable reputation of a world-class community with unparalleled lifestyle options.
