Sherpa Property Group Continues Gold Coast Expedition With New Site Purchases
Queensland-based property developer Sherpa Property Group is bolstering its presence on the Gold Coast with the acquisition of three prime sites. The recent purchases include a 1710sqm site at 107 Stanhill Drive in Chevron Island, a 915sqm site on 45 Labrador Street, and a 17Ha site on Winchelsea Way at Terranora, signaling Sherpa's confidence in the region's real estate landscape. While the financial details of the transactions remain undisclosed, the acquisitions follow Sherpa's successful sell-out of Perspective Broadwater and the near sell-out of Perspective on Albatross in Mermaid Beach.
Sherpa Property Group, renowned for its luxury residential offerings, sees these acquisitions as strategic opportunities to continue its growth trajectory on the Gold Coast. The company's founder, Christie Leet, expressed enthusiasm about exploring further prospects as existing projects near completion. Leet emphasized Sherpa's belief in the Gold Coast's potential for remarkable growth in the coming years.
The Chevron Island site, located at the Gold Coast's best riverfront location, is earmarked to become the latest addition to Sherpa's 'Perspective' brand. The company plans to develop a luxury riverfront project that aligns with its commitment to delivering premium living spaces.
Moving south to Terranora, the 17Ha site will contribute to Sherpa's 'Estates' brand, with plans for a large lot subdivision offering breathtaking views. In Labrador, the company will return to its 'Freedom' brand roots, envisioning a small lot subdivision as part of the evolving housing landscape on the Gold Coast.
Sherpa Property Group is currently in the planning stages for these three projects, with a Development Application expected to be lodged for the Chevron site in late 2023. The company's strategic acquisitions align with the Gold Coast's burgeoning growth, evident in increased apartment sales and reduced stock levels, as per recent data from Urbis.
Over the last six years, Sherpa Property Group has successfully undertaken 11 projects on the Gold Coast, solidifying its position as a developer of choice for discerning buyers. The company's portfolio includes projects such as Scenic Ridge at Bilambil Heights, Freedom Caba at Cabarita, and Perspective Nexus at Palm Beach, among others. As Sherpa continues to shape the Gold Coast's luxury real estate landscape, these latest acquisitions reaffirm its commitment to delivering high-end residential offerings that contribute to the city's vibrant character.
