Steer Developments fast-tracks construction of $51 million Côte Palm Beach after launch

Luxury property group Steer Developments is capitalising on the sustained demand for premium beachside residences with the launch of its latest Gold Coast project, the $51 million Côte Palm Beach.

The highly anticipated launch has been accompanied by plans to fast-track the development with Steer announcing the appointment of local builder GCB Constructions to make a start on the project within a matter of weeks.

Located on a prime 810sqm site at 3 Thirteenth Ave, bounded to the east by Jefferson Lane just 20 metres from the beach, Côte Palm Beach will deliver an exclusive collection of 17 luxurious residences across nine levels.

The company’s latest luxe development brings Steer’s combined project portfolio on the Gold Coast close to $350 million, which includes plans to transform the famous Ashmore Steak and Seafood site into the $60 million Ashmore Markets high-end retail precinct.

CBRE Gold Coast – which has undertaken some of the Gold Coast’s key marketing campaigns – has been appointed to market Côte Palm Beach.

Designed in collaboration with DKO Architecture and Plus Architecture, Côte Palm Beach has been crafted by Steer Developments to foster a life of coastal luxury and unrivalled convenience, taking advantage of the site’s natural beauty and prime location in the heart of Palm Beach.

Each of the 17 apartments will feature three bedrooms, a multi-purpose room and 3.5 bathrooms with accommodation for two cars in a secure underground carpark.

Priced from $2.39 million, the luxury residences at Côte Palm Beach will offer innovative craftsmanship, exquisite interiors, and lush outdoor space with expansive ocean views.

With interiors that curve in and out of form, the distinctive recesses of the internal design will create a shell-like pattern to foster a rhythm in living and dining areas that add depth to the architectural language of Côte.

The building’s sculpted façade, featuring a timeless sophistication and a visually dynamic form, captures the essence of coastal refinement.

Côte’s floor-to-ceiling glazing throughout is designed to foster ample natural light and scenic coastal views, while cascading greenery will soften the linear form. Expansive balconies in each apartment also create superb alfresco settings for everyday living or entertaining.

“Côte presents an exceptional opportunity for buyers to secure a masterfully designed residence in one of the best beachside locations at Palm Beach,” said Steer Developments Director, Rob Steer.

“We have ensured that Côte sensitively responds to the local context while delivering the absolute best of a luxe lifestyle that is just steps away from the beautiful beachfront, the Palm Beach village precinct and some of the southern Gold Coast’s best cafés, restaurants, bars and boutique retail.

“Côte Palm Beach will appeal to a broad range of buyers from professionals, holiday investors and downsizers, as well as Palm Beach locals who have already responded so well to this project.”

“Côte taps into an ever-growing buyer pool of well-heeled owner occupiers who respond to impeccable design and location and demand certainty of delivery,” said CBRE’s Director of Residential Projects Nick Clydsdale.

Côte’s two-per-floor apartments will deliver spacious open-plan living with superior finishes and luxury inclusions such as stone benchtops and premium oak flooring. Among the inclusions are high-end Miele and Gaggenau appliances in the kitchen and laundry, plus a wine fridge and barbecue station on the balcony.

The master bedroom features a generously sized walk-in robe and ensuite boasting a large freestanding circular bath paired with the rounded edge walls that feature throughout.

Residents will enjoy premium resort-style facilities including a residents-only pool with a lounge area, communal dining and barbecue facilities, beach showers and a start-of-the-art gym studio overlooking the pool area.

Steer Developments has appointed experienced Gold Coast builder GCB Constructions to undertake the build of Côte Palm Beach with construction set to start this month.

The development is scheduled for completion in March 2024.
