The Gallery achieves land sales of $4 million after interstate rush

The Gold Coast holiday period heralded a new high in buyer activity for The Gallery, an exclusive 46-lot land estate at Hope Island, helping it secure sales of more than $4 million in just two weeks.

The latest land sales have lifted the $33 million estate to an 80 per cent sell-out following a rush of more than 100 inquiries from potential buyers during the peak holiday break immediately after Christmas.

Most of the inquiries came from interstate, mainly Sydney, and all were looking to secure a piece of the sought-after golf and waterfront lifestyle of the Gold Coast’s booming North Shore precinct at Hope Island.

However, it was local buyers who led the charge as developer GH Australia secured six sales totalling $4.193 million over two weeks. All of the buyers were from south-east Queensland, leaving just 10 lots remaining to be sold.

“We were well prepared for a strong level of inquiries during the holiday period as the Queensland border was finally opened in December, but the response we received far exceeded our expectations,” said The Gallery’s sales and marketing consultant Tony Hymus.

“The interstate interest really created a level of urgency among local buyers who didn’t want to get beaten to the punch.

“Demand was so strong that some people unfortunately missed out on the lot they wanted, and we even had one buyer willing to offer more than the list price to secure a site.”

Mr Hymus said he was confident of more sales being finalised over the coming weeks, including some sales to interstate parties who had inspected lots over the holidays.

“There was no real trend among the buyers as they ranged from sea-changers to downsizers and young families, but they all have one thing in common in that they are preparing to build their new home as soon as possible,” he said.

“The Gallery still has some excellent lots available offering stunning golf course views, and the market remains quite active for us.”

Among the buyers who purchased within the luxury land estate was Brisbane buyer Callum Mitchener who purchased lot 43 at The Gallery for his family to build their forever home.

“We knew it would be a beautiful spot to raise a family, there are places to run and the greenery really drew us in,” said Mr Mitchener.

“Our house is half way through construction and it’s the perfect area to envision the family at long term as well as being just a buggy ride away from a range of different food venues.”

With home construction already under way, The Gallery is expecting its first residents to begin moving in from April.

Land prices at The Gallery start from $720,000 for a 597m2 golf course lot, while blocks up to 873sqm are priced from over $1 million.

The 46 lots at The Gallery comprise golf course, lakefront and parkside homesites located within the Links Hope Island development, with the exclusive precinct offering 24/7 gated security.

Future amenities for residents will include a refurbished clubhouse and fully equipped gym, adding to the recreational and community appeal.

The Gallery provides a rare opportunity for property buyers to create a private and secluded residence in the heart of Hope Island with every amenity close to hand.

The Gallery is located within easy reach of the $65 million Hope Island Market Place, as well as the M1 and a range of great schooling, retail, medical and hospitality offerings.

Developer GH Australia is the company behind the Links Hope Island Golf Club, the Noosa Springs Golf & Spa Resort, and the Park Sydney project, which is one of the largest master-planned developments in Sydney.
