$53m luxury residences arrive at Stones Corner

A spectacular $53 million luxury apartment project that is set to become the new heart of Brisbane’s gentrified Stones Corner launched to the market over the weekend (August 27).Promising a sophisticated and convenient lifestyle for residents, Stoneham will be delivered by established local property developers DeMartini Fletcher. The 12 level apartment building has been designed by Ellivo Architects and will feature 99 oversized one- and two-bedroom apartments, undercover parking and a ground floor retail precinct.A pre-1911 building named ‘Stoneham House’ will be restored and integrated into the design, offering a private sanctuary for residents including a 18 metre pool, barbeques, private dining areas and relaxation zones.DeMartini Fletcher secured development approval for the tower in late 2015 which will rise at 20 Stoneham Street, eight minutes’ drive south-east of Brisbane’s CBD.DeMartini Fletcher development manager John Lunney said Stoneham would reflect the eclecticism of Stones Corner and the sophistication of Brisbane city living.“Stones Corner is a progressive, dynamic and unique suburb in the midst of an exciting transformation,” he said.“From a community perspective, the Stoneham tower will breathe fresh air into the suburb and become a focal point for locals.“As a company we are excited to re-enter the residential development market in one of Brisbane’s fastest emerging lifestyle precincts.”DeMartini Fletcher has appointed TESSA Advisory and Project Marketing to exclusively market the project.Stoneham’s one and two bedroom apartments will range in size from 74sqm to 93sqm respectively.Project marketer Mal Windebank said Stoneham’s large residences would appeal to both owner occupiers and discerning investors.“The generous open floorplan apartments at Stoneham will feature spacious balconies offering expansive, uninterrupted views of the city and surrounds,” he said.“When it comes to apartment living, size does matter, and that is something we’ve heard loud and clear from the market which is why Stoneham’s apartments are up to 20 per cent larger than comparative new apartment product across Brisbane.“Quality also factors in setting Stoneham apart from its competitors – from reconstituted stone bench tops, gas cooktops and ducted air conditioning to finer details such as soft closing door hinges.“The incorporation of a classic Queenslander into the project bridges the gap between old and new, as well as adding a bespoke element and an array of amenities for residents’ use.”Extensive landscaping areas have been integrated into Stoneham’s design including edible gardens and vertical greenery.Residents will be able to tap into complimentary WIFI in communal areas with NBN grade broadband preinstalled upon completion.
