Villa World hands over keys to Bill Hoyer House
Handing over the keys to a new house is nothing new for Villa World, but the Gold Coast developer has marked its 30th birthday with the delivery of a very special home.Villa World has handed the Gold Coast Project for Homeless Youth (GCPHY) the key to Bill Hoyer House, a transitional care facility in Labrador constructed for homeless young people on the Gold Coast. The handover took place at Villa World’s 30 year gala celebration, held at Jupiters Casino last week, and was accompanied by a cheque for $25,000.Villa World constructed Bill Hoyer House through donations of labour, materials and money from its subcontractors and suppliers, which significantly reduced the building cost to the GCPHY.It is the second home constructed by Villa World for the GCPHY.About 300 people attended Villa World’s 30 year gala celebration. For more information visit villaworld30.com.au and billhoyerhouse.com.au.
