Alto and Tenor in tune with buyers with 60 per cent sellout

Discerning end-user buyers have heeded the call to quality and luxury at the Alto & Tenor development in Red Hill, where more than 60 per cent of apartments have sold.Developer Property Solutions is poised to start construction of the boutique apartment project that will rise as two sculptural art-deco inspired buildings with dual street frontage.Property Solutions managing director David Blanck said the market had responded eagerly to Alto & Tenor’s boutique scale and inner city location.“It’s a rare and winning mix,” he said.“Much time and consideration went into making Alto & Tenor something different and truly bespoke.“We’ve experienced significant interest from the local market as these buyers appreciate the rarity of the offering and the value of the Red Hill location right on the doorstep of the CBD.”Alto & Tenor purchaser Roberta Kerr agrees, saying those were the key motivators for her decision to snap up a one-bedroom apartment in the project.“First and foremost, the boutique nature of the development was very important,” she said.“The unique art deco design and superior quality of fixtures, fittings and finish separated Alto & Tenor from any other project I looked at.”Ms Kerr, a management consultant who currently lives in Paddington and works in the CBD, said the location, design and size of the apartment suited her lifestyle.“Maintaining proximity to the city was important to me but the apartment itself had to be the right fit,” she said."My apartment is very generous in its square meterage and flows seamlessly into my private courtyard space, this I believe leads itself to a very liveable and flexible floorplan for a one bedroom apartment."Alto & Tenor will comprise 19 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments in a complex fronting Upper Clifton Terrace and Lower Clifton Terrace.Apartments are priced from $455,000. Property Solutions is planning to release the project’s three-bedroom dwellings, which will be priced from $780,000 and feature side-by-side garaged car parks, in August. The majority of apartments will have uninterrupted views of the CBD due to the site’s elevation.Existing buildings on the site have been demolished and construction is due to start imminently.Property Solutions has been established in Brisbane for 25 years and is a market leader in urban renewal projects across Southeast Queensland, with a workbook of more than 150 completed projects. The group is responsible for a number of Brisbane’s major mixed-use development projects, including the acclaimed Centro on James Street project - regarded as one of Brisbane’s most successful urban renewal projects - the $350 million SW1 development in South Brisbane and more recently The Barracks, a $150 million mixed use and entertainment precinct in Paddington.Property Solutions’ current projects include Illumina in Toowong, Circa Nundah Village and Arbour on Charlotte in Chermside.
