Cambridge Residences’ third tower lures first home buyers
Cambridge Residences saw a huge leap in first home buyer sales in the months leading up to July, as the $20,000 first home owner grant extension came to an end on June 30.Sales have been tracking extremely well for Cambridge Residences, with 30 per cent of apartments sold in the project’s third tower, which was launched earlier this year following the sell-out of tower one and two.Steven Chen of The Agency has reported stellar sales in recent months, particularly among young families and first-time buyers.“Cambridge Residences has been popular among first-time buyers looking to enter the property market and take advantage of the increased grant,” Mr Chen said.“We have also been offering no body corporate payments for the first year to ease the load of repayments while young families make the lifestyle readjustment.“We are creating an owner-occupier community who are connected to one another and the convenient surrounding amenities.”First home buyers comprise an astonishing 50 per cent of sales among tower three buyers thus far, and Mr Chen said he’s only expecting that to continue as the government first home buyer grant has now been extended.Corey Rynne has just purchased his first home in Cambridge Residences and is looking forward to moving into his brand new apartment once the project is complete.“I decided it was a good idea to start looking to get into the property market sooner rather than later, considering the first home buyer grant extension only lasted until the end of June,” Mr Rynne said.“Cambridge Residences boasts a low entry price, plus it’s a new build, and once I saw the display home, I decided it was where I wanted to buy my first home.Mr Rynne wasn’t sure what to expect when buying a home, but The Agency helped him through the entire process.“The Agency made my first home buying experience as clear and informed as possible.”Mr Rynne works in Robina and is familiar with the area, which is what drew him to buying in the Gold Coast suburb.“I’m a Robina local, and I love how everything is at your fingertips; I never need to travel far,” Mr Rynne said. The 12-story tower will contain a mixture of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, some offering a multi-purpose room. Apartments are priced from $330,000.Residence of the building are just a five-minute walk from the Robina train centre and just two kilometres from the M1.Cambridge Residences is being developed by SPG Investment Holding Limited and Shino Development Group, and will ultimately comprise 386 apartments across four medium-rise buildings.
