Gold Coast family developer set to embark on next wave of beachfront luxury

One of the Gold Coast’s most well-known family-owned developers, Lacey Group, is set to fast track the construction of its two southern Gold Coast projects following a stellar sales run in both projects that underpins the strength of the southern off-the-plan market.

Lacey Group announced today (5th October) the appointment of leading Queensland construction company Hutchinsons on its $35 million Monroe project at Palm Beach and its $63 million Del Ray apartments at Kirra.

Del Ray reached a lightning sell-out within just a few mere weeks prior to launching, with construction anticipated to kick off in October following the recent receival of DA approval.

“We are thrilled with the consecutive sales success of the Monroe and the Del Ray, both of which have been incredibly well received,” said Adam Lacey, Director of Lacey Group.

“Palm Beach and Kirra are arguably two of the hottest beachfront markets on the coast right now, so it’s an exciting time to be pioneering the next generation of luxury living on its shores.”

Demolition works on both sites has now been completed, with full scale construction scheduled to take off in October.

“Hutchies have a brilliant reputation on the coast for delivering a dynamic portfolio of projects, and we have full confidence that they will do justice to each project’s remarkable design,” said Mr Lacey.

“We are looking forward to breaking ground and beginning the next phase of bringing The Del Ray and The Monroe to life for our new residents,” said Mr Lacey.

The Del Ray will encompass 72 luxury two and three-bedroom apartments and townhouses accompanied by every amenity desirable to live the dream coastal lifestyle, including a rooftop infinity pool and terrace boasting breathtaking views over the ocean, and access to an exclusive resident’s lounge.

Designed by award winning Plus Architecture and set on a quiet side street leading directly to the shores of Kirra beach, residents of Del Ray will be positioned at the epicentre of the Kirra community, just a short stroll from the vibrant dining scene, shopping precinct, ocean way and public transport options.

Located at 7-11 Miles St, the project is also within close proximity to the highly anticipated re-development of the Kirra Beach Hotel, set to offer the bustling Kirra Beach suburb a new entertainment hub and dining pavilion.

The Monroe will rise at Palm Beach’s 124-126 Jefferson Lane and encompass 33 two- and three-bedroom apartments, a town home and a penthouse, topped by an exclusive 250sqm rooftop terrace of recreation space, firepit and a pool with world-class panoramic ocean views.

In a true testament to the developer’s impressive reputation, a large portion of purchases within The Monroe came from previous Lacey Group buyers.

The Del Ray and The Monroe come as the latest instalments in a spate of spectacular sold-out developments by Lacey Group on the southern Gold Coast, following on from their stunning Jefferson and Southbreak projects which enamoured the luxury owner occupier market.
