Highland instigates $21 million buying spree in the heart of The Rocks

The recently completed Harrington Collection by Hannas and Golden Age Group has been swamped with interest to accrue over $21 million in sales after spending less than eight weeks on the market in the hands of selling agents Highland.

Cashed up buyers have descended on the project, which has been hailed as the ‘last of its’ kind premium apartment offering for The Rocks precinct.

The $350 million Harrington collection encompasses 58 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments atop a ground floor collection of terrace homes, and has proved to be a quick hit with both investors and downsizers.

Sales to date include the $5.3 million sale of a 3-bedroom apartment to a local buyer enticed by the coveted harbourside positioning, and the $3.99 million sale of a two-bedroom unit to another owner occupier.

Two terrace homes sold for a collective $12 million to a single Melbourne buyer who secured one home as a place of temporary residence for Sydney visits, and the other as an investment opportunity.

The terrace collection has been conceived in two key design styles – a contemporary Manhattan Soho range, and a historic collection of refurbished terraces that originally occupied the site.
