More than $46 million in sales secured at No. 1 Grant Avenue
Aniko Group’s $140 million waterfront apartment project at Hope Island has continued its stellar sales run as the Gold Coast’s fastest selling project, with a bumper Christmas New Year holiday sales run driving the first stage to more than 70 per cent sold.
No. 1 Grant Avenue, which accounted for 20 per cent of all Gold Coast apartment sales in the September quarter, was only launched to the market in mid-August and is already under construction.
A flurry of buyer activity leading up to Christmas and over the holiday period has driven sales to more than $46 million, leaving Aniko Group’s sales projections well ahead of target.
“The sales flurry over the last month or two has been very strong and we’re delighted to report that we are well ahead of our projections and well advanced in the construction phase,” said Aniko Group founder George Mastrocostas.
“Buyers have been drawn to the affordable luxury of No. 1 Grant Avenue and the transformation of the Hope Island precinct. We’ve priced the apartments unbelievably well and this along with the quality of the project has driven the strength of the sales campaign.”
Mr Mastrocostas said right from the beginning it had been Aniko Group’s intention to provide a quality residential community that lives up to our buyer’s lifestyle needs without the exorbitant price tag.
“In terms of what’s on the market today, we are offering quality, beautifully finished apartments at competitive price points and this has clearly struck a chord with buyers.”
Construction on the first stage of the 210-apartment project is underway and expected to be complete mid-year.
Aniko Group sales and marketing director, Peter Malady said No. 1 Grant Avenue was attracting interest from a large cross-section of the market including downsizers and first homebuyers.
“As the project comes to life, we’re fielding more interest from the market with downsizers, owner-occupiers and investors all drawn to the value for money and great lifestyle on offer here,” Mr Malady said.
“We recently opened a new sales suite at 6 Sickle Avenue which is just across from No. 1 Grant Avenue and comes complete with a full kitchen and bathroom display.
“It’s already proving popular with potential buyers as it gives them the opportunity to see the product for themselves.
“The project has been so well received which is fantastic and we look forward to welcoming many more happy buyers to No. 1 Grant Avenue,” he said.
On completion No. 1 Grant Avenue will comprise 210 apartments with a luxurious twist that will bring all the trappings of a waterfront luxury resort for residents to enjoy.
The first stage at No. 1 Grant Avenue will comprise 105 apartments, ranging from one-bedroom, plus study to three-bedroom, plus study residences. Apartments will range in size from 86sqm to 199sqm. Prices start from $439,000.
Buyers will enjoy access to a residents’ lounge, expansive pool with sundecks, a fully equipped gym overlooking a children’s indoor play area, zen garden, private media room, barbecue facilities, a pet wash bay, secure basement parking and bridge free access to the Broadwater and the seaway.
The development is just a stone’s throw from the brand new $65 million Hope Island Marketplace and a short drive from the recently completed $470 million Westfield Coomera Town Centre.
Hope Island is surrounded by majestic waterways, some of the best golf courses in Australia and is also home to two world class resorts in Sanctuary Cove and Hope Island resort.
Hope Island offers a haven away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet provides easy access to employment hubs of Brisbane CBD, Surfers Paradise and Southport.
No. 1 Grant Avenue’s sales suite is open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm. In addition to the full kitchen and bathroom display the suite also includes a project model, plans, development features and facilities.
