Sherpa Property Group Lodges New Development Application For Perspective Nexus Palm Beach

Sherpa Property Group is advancing its Perspective Nexus development with a new development application, aiming to establish a new benchmark for luxury coastal living on the Gold Coast. The project, located at 949-953 Gold Coast Highway, is set to rise nine storeys, offering 32 spacious apartments, including two half-floor penthouses and three skyhomes with private rooftops.

Revised Design and Community Feedback: Following a detailed design process led by HAL Architects and considering community feedback, the new proposal has been scaled back from the original 14 levels to nine. Sherpa's Founder, Christie Leet, sees this revision as an opportunity to create a landmark residential project that enhances the beachside lifestyle in Palm Beach. The revised plans reflect increased planting and greenery, ensuring seamless integration with the surrounding suburb.

Buyer Engagement and Community Integration: Buyers who previously committed to apartments in Nexus will be given the first opportunity to purchase residences in the new development, emphasizing Sherpa's commitment to engaging with the original buyers. The development aims to offer spacious designs with the best floorplans available on the Gold Coast, catering to owner-occupiers and downsizers.

Luxury Amenities and Features: Perspective Nexus will introduce an array of communal amenities, including a dedicated wellness space with a magnesium spa, outdoor kitchen, sauna, hot and cold pools, and a steam room. The plans incorporate more than 70 car parks for residents and visitors, exceeding requirements to ensure ample onsite parking. Additional features include an electric car charging station, individual apartment storage, car wash bay, parcel delivery storage (including cold store), and more.

Development Timeline: As a code-assessable project, Sherpa anticipates obtaining development approval by February. Construction is slated to commence in Q1 2024, with completion expected in Q3 2025.
